"Atlantic #6" Another not on show.This mixed media work was drawn on paper previosly given a random blue watercolour wash after which soft graphite and black ink was used. The preliminary sketches were essentially very quickly done. Porthmeor Beach at St. Ives in a December gale doesn't encourage one to linger. I took a photograph from which I did most of the work before quickly retiring to the warmth of the Tate Gallery Cafe.
